Rivas Law Firm, PLLC. grew from a desire to give Texas families the kind of legal representation Attorney Israel Lee Rivas believed they deserved: attentive, direct, culturally connected, and willing to fight hard when the stakes are high. After earning his J.D. from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law and becoming licensed in Texas in late 2018, Israel returned his focus to the Rio Grande Valley and began building a practice around the people and communities he knew well.
A major part of that vision was communication. In a region where many families prefer to discuss serious legal matters in Spanish, Israel saw the importance of offering representation that did not depend on a third-party translator to explain complicated issues. As a native bilingual attorney fluent in both English and Spanish, he can communicate directly with clients about their concerns, options, strategy, and decisions throughout the life of a case.
